BPW State Events

The are two main events at the state level of BPW/WA: Fall Board in the Fall and State Conference in the Spring. Lobby Day is in January in Olympia, WA in conjunction with other politically active women's groups. All three events offer great networking opportunities and dynamic speakers, training, and fun. Please join us at one of these events. Non-members are always welcome.

BPW/WA Fall Board

Once a year BPW/WA has a Board of Directors meeting which includes the BPW Executive Committee, State Board Members, State Standing Committee Chairs, and Local Presidents. Although only the aforementioned members may vote at this meeting, all members and non-members are encouraged to attend and speak. Below is an excerpt from the BPW WBW (Washington Business Woman) Magazine on Fall Board which happened on October 1, 2011.

Join Washington State Business and Professional Women as we reconvene once more at Fall Board.  This year, Campus Local will host this special event at YWCA Issaquah Family Village located at Highlands Dr NE & NE High St, Issaquah, WA, 98029.  Join  Nancy Sorenson as she speaks about "Packing Your Own Parachute."  Lunch is included and don't forget to bring a gift card from Target or Safeway (in any amount) to support the YWCA Issaquah Family Village.

BPW/WA State Conference

This year State Conference will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Tukwila, WA, May 18 - 20, 2012. There will be speakers, lunch and dinner events, BPW business, seminars, and a trade show. All members can vote at this annual event and non-members are encouraged to attend the meetings and be in the trade show.
