BPW/WA Foundation
Business
and Professional Women (BPW) Foundation transforms workplaces by strengthening the
capacity of organizations and businesses to create work environments that are inclusive
and value the skills and contributions of working women. A Successful Workplace, as
defined by BPW Foundation, is one that practices and embraces work-life balance, equity
and diversity.
BPW/WA Foundation Officers and Board
Members
BPW Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) research and education organization. The work of BPW
Foundation supports workforce development programs and workplace policies that recognize
the diverse needs of working women, communities and businesses. There
are two foundations that the BPW/WA Federation is inked with: Washington State BPW (WS
BPW) Foundation and BPW/USA Foundation. Both foundations are dedicated to helping women
meet their educational needs by way of scholarships and through research, knowledge, and
policy.

History
The legacy of Business and Professional Women
began in 1919. Although the organization has transformed over time, the legacy and
vision remain intact.
WS BPW Foundation
When you support Washington State
Business and Professional Women's (WS BPW) Foundation, you support a powerful research
and education institution that is working to empower women to reach their full potential
and to work with employers to create successful workplaces. Your tax-deductible
contributions helps WS BPW Foundation develop resources, research and programming on
issues affecting women in the workplace and provide financial assistance for women to
further their educations in Washington State.
